Hey guys. I'm here just to let you guys know about this fresh new artist that's slowly building up momentum in the online community.
His name? Eigh8t The Chosen One
Is he good? Does shit usually stink? Of course he's good. Why would I be spreading the word about a rapper who isn't?
Now he labels himself as "The Artist the Radio Won't Play and the Industry Won't Let You Hear". After hearing his album, it sounds like they're missing out by not having him signed. He is currently signed by Real Skillz Records, he is a huge horror and UFC fan, and he's a hell of an artist as well. It's also really refreshing to hear a newer rap star that doesn't focus his lyrics into stories of "Sexual persuasions" or "I kill this mothafucka, and that mothafucka. I'LL KILL ANYTHING THAT MOVES!!!". The CD is full of sweet tracks and is mixed almost perfectly.
I really enjoyed this album and I cannot wait until his new new mix-tape drops on March 1st. Along with the Dr. Smith Band, this is another independent artist I'll have to keep my eyes on.
